We are proud to announce the successful hosting of the Orthography Symposium for Nayi, Kafa, and Tsara in Bonga, December 2025, a landmark collaboration between the Federal authorities and the Education Bureau of the Southwest Ethiopian People’s Regional Government.
This symposium is the result of tireless dedication to the growth of education. By refining the writing systems of our diverse languages, we are ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn in a way that resonates with their heritage.
Where We Work
WE-LEAD Ethiopia is actively implementing literacy programs in different languages.
In refugee camps in Gondar and Tigray, WE-LEAD Ethiopia not
only provides basic needs for refugees and internally displaced persons but also facilitates trauma healing workshops for adults and children to help them recover from the psychological impacts of war and displacement.
